Do I need to create an account?
Yes. It’s important for us to know who’s riding with us and to have all of your contact information. You can create an account online HERE, and if you need any assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us at the studio or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am bringing friends with me and it’s all of our first times - do they all need to create accounts?
You can book up to three sessions on one single account, but each person will have to fill out a Waiver Form and create an account before they participate. You can do this when you arrive, but kindly show up, at least, 15 minutes prior to class.
*Please note, riders under 18 must have their parent or guardian sign the waiver with them, in person.

Can I book multiple children in childcare?
We limit the amount of children, per class participant, to 3 total children.
What is the care provider to child ratio?
Our space can comfortably hold 16 children under 8 years old with 4 trained professionals in TONEK1DS.
Do you offer a monthly membership?
At TONEF1TNESS we offer class packages, along with unlimited access packages without any contractual obligation. No memberships! No contracts! No hidden fees! If you are actively participating in classes, our larger class packs provide a discount on each individual class. We also have Auto-pay packages that allow you to attend 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 classes monthly for a discounted rate. To see our class pricing, click HERE.
What if this is my first time at Tone? Do you have a first time rate?
Want to experiment and find the right class for you, and don’t want to commit to a package? No problem! Your first 2 Weeks is for ONLY $49! No Memberships! No Contracts! No Hidden Fees!
Do you offer any other discounts?
At TONEF1TNESS, we offer student, military and senior discounts, and you can certainly take advantage of purchasing more classes, which will decrease your total cost per class. We also occasionally offer complimentary classes to determine your FTW (functional threshold watt rate), which will provide you a better assessment when riding on our bikes. In addition, we sporadically offer community (free) classes when we have a new Tone instructor.
Is it possible to share a package with my family?
Of course! Just let us know whom your spouse or family member(s) are and we will link the accounts so that you are drawing from the same package. Please be advised that we have a limit of three family members on one account.
Do you have gift cards? How do I use them?
We certainly have gift cards available for purchase at our studio, in increments of $10, $20, $50, $100, and $250.
How far in advance do I have to cancel a class to avoid penalty?
A classes require 6 hour prior notice to your scheduled daytime and evening class in order to avoid penalty. Also, all morning Saturday and Sunday classes, in addition to early 5:45am classes must be cancelled by 8pm the previous evening. If you cancel after that time, you will forfeit one credit. However, if you have an unlimited package you will be charged $10 for the missed class, $15 for a no show, ONLY if the class is waitlisted or additional setup is required. .
What happens if I fail to show up for a class I've reserved?
If you fail to show up for a class you're signed up for, you will forfeit the credit used to reserve the class, or be charged $10 if you have unlimited access (no shows are $15) if the class is full or requires additional set up.
How will I know if I have gotten into a class off a wait list?
As soon as a space has opened up for you, we will notify you by phone and/or email. Remember, when you put yourself on a waitlist, the system uses one of your credits to hold your place. If you have made other plans and do not plan to attend class, please remove yourself from the wait list to avoid penalty. You may remove yourself under the account tab on our website.
What if I need to cancel a class?
We do not want to charge you for classes you don’t attend, so it’s easy to cancel all on your own in your online account. If you need to cancel, please do so 6-hours before your class, or by 8pm the prior evening for early AM (5:45am) Saturday and Sunday classes. That gives us plenty of time to allow other people to sign up. If you have an emergency and can’t make it last minute, you will need to let the studio know directly by calling (503)524-4164 to avoid a 'no show.'
How is Tone different from other studios?
We consider ourselves a destination rather than a gym. Our trainers are experienced professionals who have an enthusiasm for fitness and a desire to help you achieve your goals. We also provide innovative solutions to ensure you are making the most out of the time that you dedicate to fitness. Our classes not only tone your body and enhance your mind, but we develop our own music playlists keeping in mind that music is scientifically proven to increase your exertion! We offer a variety of classes that target all muscle groups differently. The classes also compliment each other so that you can use us for your high performance days as well as your lower intensity days. Also, new equipment, exercises, programs, events, products, etc. are introduced all of the time. Lastly, we are here for our customers, and take all feedback. Let us know what we can do to fulfill your needs, and we will always look for ways to make it work!
Do you offer childcare?
We certainly do, and we call it TONEK1DS. We offer a wide selection of child friendly items, and a set schedule of activities while you are working hard in your class. No TV’s here. We are all about engagement!
Do you have locker rooms?
Most definitely! We have both a men and women’s locker room that features complimentary Dani toiletries, in addition to most other necessities to be able to continue your day without having to make a pit stop at home or work. In addition to toiletries, we have complimentary shower towels, wet clothing bags and feature a shower in each locker room, along with lockers with locking mechanisms, hair dryers, and a vanity mirror in each locker room. Do you have water or should I bring my own?
We have a filtered water fountain for your convenience, and also offer water bottles for purchase at our studio. Looking for a rebottled option? Yes, we have them too!

How early should I come to class?
If it’s your first time with us, we recommend arriving, at least, 15 minutes prior to your class. Please note, that if you have not signed in 3 minutes before the class starts, your spot may be released. If you are running late please give the studio a call and we will hold your spot for up to 5 minutes after class starts.

What results am I going to get at TONEF1TNESS?
You have made the first step towards an experience that has the strong possibility of getting the results that you expect, and our trained certified instructors are here to motivate and inspire you. The best part? You are with a supportive group of people, getting a workout, and having fun! However, only YOU determine how hard you are going to push, and the cues you are following. We are here to help you in any way possible, including personal training sessions, along with having a fitness nutrition specialist on staff.
How many times, per week/month, should I come to TONEF1TNESS to see results?
We offer classes throughout the day so that you hopefully can find a time that works to commit to your fitness. Research shows that exercising 150 minutes per week improves cardiovascular health as well as enhances longevity so we recommend that you try to work out for at least 150 minutes or longer per week and make sure you dedicate time to stretching and soothing those hard working muscles. Can’t dedicate that much time? No problem! Our goal is to ensure that you get the most out of your TONE workout, regardless of whether you attend 5 days a week or just once a month.
How many calories are burned per class?
Our trainers are going to inspire you and make do everything they can to push you to your limits. We want you to get the most out of our classes. However, calorie expenditure all comes down to your weight and the effort or exertion that you put into the class. You should anticipate burning between 450-750 calories in our high intensity classes. In addition, your fitness statistics are displayed on our on-board Coach by Color training console in TONER1DE.
I'm not sure I am comfortable participating in classes with other people. I don't like people watching me. What options do I have?
Our TONER1DE, BOOTCAMP's, and TR1TONAL classes are all conducted in the dark, so you can follow the cues you are comfortable with, and not have to worry about anyone watching you. You set your pace and resistance, and experiment with the movements. Still worried? You can request a particular spot in the studio for R1DE, or you can book a time with an instructor to give you a personal tutorial.
What happens if I am on the wait list?
We apologize that we’ve run out of spaces in our class, but there may be an opportunity that someone can’t meet their commitment. When you add your name to the wait list, you will be sent an e-mail once your spot opens up. No need to confirm, as you are automatically added. If your spot doesn’t open up, then you can book another class or check back at another time.
Is it possible to book a bike or space on an APP on my phone?
We use the MindBody Connect App, and you can download it HERE. In addition, we have our own APP (TONE F1TNESS). At this time, you can only book a specific bike or placement in our classes by giving us a call or sending us an e-mail at email@example.com.
Can I choose where I'd like to set up in your classes? Is it possible to be next to my friend?
We want you to be as comfortable as possible, so we allow you to be able to choose your location in the class. And if you want to sit next to a friend; just let us know where you’d like to sit and we will be sure to reserve your spaces.
QUEST1ONS ABOUT R1DING (CYCL1NG)
I don't normally ride a bicycle. Why would I want to take a TONER1DE or TR1TONAL class?
Riding or cycling is very low impact, and has minimal joint stress you would get from other activities. We want to make exercise as safe as possible for you. Exercising on our bikes is easy on your hips, back, knees and other joints.
I always have trouble determining the best setup on a cycling bike. Can you help?
During your first class we will set you up properly on the bike. In addition, the seat and handlebars on our bikes are hydraulic. No need to screw in and screw out. The hydraulic system is numbered so that you can jot down your settings, or allow us to do it for you so that you remember for next time. Regardless, if you ever have any questions, multiple staff members come into the room to make sure you are comfortable, ready to go, and will help with any questions you’d like answered.
Do I have to have my own shoes for your TONER1DE class?
TONEF1TNESS makes everything as easy as possible for you, so you do not need to bring your own shoes. We offer complimentary Shimano cycling shoe rentals, but you are more than welcome to bring your own. Our bikes are SPD compatible but they also have a toe cage if you’d prefer to use your sneakers. However, for the full experience, and to achieve the most out of your workout, we’d suggest using our shoe rentals or your own SPD cleated cycling shoes. Looking for a pair of shoes? We would be happy to order you a pair from our partner at Shimano!
How can I make the seat more comfortable to ride during your TONER1DE class?
In some instances, adjusting to the seat in the early stages may require some getting used to. There are a couple of options to help. For one, you can wear padded bike shorts, or you can purchase a cushioned seat gel. However, after a short duration, we don’t believe you’ll require either.
What is the benefit of riding in cycling shoes? Do I need them? Are there any recommendations you have on the type I should purchase?
Our bikes offer a dual-sided SPD, along with a toe cage, so you have the option. However, our recommendation is to use our complimentary Shimano cycling shoes since you are more secure and allows for an efficient means of pedaling. As you ride with cycling shoes, you will have added exertion since you are more connected to the bike, and this creates a more beneficial exercise for your body. If you’d like to bring your own shoes, no problem! Just remember that our pedals are adaptable to SPD cleats.
Can I ride or participate in classes if I am pregnant?
Due to being able to modify the resistance in our TONER1DE class, participants may choose to participate all the way to the time they are due. Other classes can be more rigorous. In all cases, we suggest you talk to your doctor to seek approval prior to participating in classes at TONEF1TNESS.
How old do you need to be to take a class? Are there any other restrictions?
You must be, at least, 12 years old to take a non-yoga class, however, if under 18 your parent or guardian must also sign your waiver in person. You must also be at least 4’11” to take our TONER1DE class. Yoga classes are for any age, with a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
Can I bring my friends/family/co-workers to a private session with just us at Tone?
Absolutely! Send us an e-mail at and let us know what would be ideal for all of you. Special requests? No problem. We will find every way to make sure your time at TONEF1TNESS is perfect!
What is your retail return policy?
We offer apparel returns within 30 days of purchase, as long as they are unused, unwashed, and have the tag. In addition, we require proof of payment. Any other sale items, including water bottles, are final. Any questions, please feel free to contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org.
What is your policy regarding inclement weather?
We do not typically cancel a class, but it happens. In those cases, we will inform all of our followers on social media, and take down the class online. If you are having a hard time making it to the studio because of bad weather, please call the studio (503) 524-4164.
Is there anything else I need to know about TONEF1TNESS?
Please leave your cell phone, tablet, etc. in one of our coded lockers or in a cubbie. If you are uncomfortable leaving them in our storage areas, and/or are ‘on-call’ and need to have it, please leave it at the front desk and we will come and get you. We see this as an experience for you, and the last thing we want to do is have it ruined for you or other clients.
Want to get crazy on your bike? No worries! We respect people’s individuality, but please choose a bike in the back.
Please make sure you limit use of strong perfumes, colognes and powders when working out at TONEF1TNESS. Most of our classes are in an enclosed space and we want to make sure the air circulating is as pure as possible. We just want to be sure that everyone, including you, is enjoying his or her experience.

Love your instructor, and they are not there when you arrive? Class cancelled or times changed? We will be sure to notify our customers on social media of any changes to our schedule.
